There are 3 possibles reasons for this:
1) You need to reload your .jar files by deleting all temporary Internet files:
a) Open up Internet explorer >> Tools >> Internet options
b) Click “delete files” (check mark in “delete offline content as well”)
Close the BenchMark Trader and login again, check the charts/news
2) Internet explorer security settings, if the security level of the internet explorer, is too high, the charts and streaming news, can in some cases be blocked.
a) Open up Internet explorer, Tools >> Internet options
b) Click Security
c) Click trusted sites (in green)
d) Click sites
e) Remove the tick from "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone"
g) Click Add
h) Click OK and then OK
i) Close Internet ExplorerCheck the charts and the streaming news.
Close the BenchMark Trader and login again, check the charts/news
3) You may have problems with java on your PC
a) Go to the following page java test, look at section 9, the one with the yellow car
b) If this says you have Microsoft Corp. then please do the following:
c) Go START >> RUN, here type in cmd
e) Type in: regsvr32 /u msjava.dll
f) Click OK
g) Then go to www.java.com, Click on the download now! button and download the newest version on Sun java
h) If this says you have a version of Sun Java below 1.5, then please do the following:
i) Go to www.java.com, click on the "Download now!" button and download the newest version on Sun java
Close the BenchMark Trader and login again, check the charts/news
